Al Theatro Palace

Close to San Marco square. The hotel was very clean & the room decor was nice. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. The rooftop was also a nice treat.

Fantastic hotel in a great location, just a short stroll from all the sites, but tucked away in a quiet location, which was nice to go back to at the end of the day. Easy to get to from the airport via water bus to Sant Angelo and then a five minute walk to the hotel. We had the standard room which was very comfortable, modern and clean - it’s not huge but you don’t come to Venice to spend the day in your hotel room! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was really good - can’t understand some of the negative comments as there was lots of choice! Lovely bar and restaurant opposite and also lots of other places to eat nearby.

Location very good. Easy to find restaurants very nearby. Situated in a very quiet area but also very close to all tourist spots. Was provided with clear instructions on how to get to the hotel. Rooms are modern and everything worked well. Beds comfortable and room temperature was good

Breakfast was plentiful but not much available in terms of hot meals. The scrambled eggs weren’t nice but the bacon and sausages were fine. Only boiled eggs were available too. Apart from that the facilities were excellent and clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful. One real personal touch which was exceptional was the hotel gave me a surprise birthday wish on the morning of my birthday which is why we came to Venice. I hadn’t informed them but they sang happy birthday and gave me some Prosecco and a cake with candle. Lovely touch.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, the bathroom was fully equipped, and everything has been as described. The staff was amazing and always eager to help and the breakfast was equally superb. The location is absolutely perfect to enjoy all parts of Venice on foot. We highly recommend this hotel for a trip to Venice.
